Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital officially opened its doors in July, 2004. We specialize in small animal medicine, providing comprehensive veterinary care to dogs, cats and pocket pets, such as mice, ferrets and chinchillas (sorry – no birds or reptiles). We provide routine wellness care, such as vaccines and dental cleanings, as well as surgeries, both small (spays, neuters) and large (cruciate ligament repairs, amputations), including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. Our state-of-the-art facilities feature a convenient in-house laboratory, as well as ultrasound and digital x-rays for fast, accurate diagnoses of a variety of medical conditions. We also carry specialized prescription diets, as well as different supplements for dogs and cats.
At Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital, we believe in supporting our community. We support many local sports teams and have volunteers helping out at our office from the Health and Science Academy at Moorpark High School, The Regional Occupation Program of Ventura County, as well as the Animal Behavior College training program. We also treat a number of former racing greyhounds that are being fostered by different organizations such as Greysave, Greyhound Pets of America and Homestretch.
We Welcome Animals of All Varieties Including:
Common Household Pets: Dogs and Cats
Exotic Pets: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hedgehogs, Sugar Gliders, and Rodents (rats, hamsters, gerbils, etc.)
